Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pino ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of service

Pino is a location-based marker application that allows you to save geographic points, lines, and areas; organize them into collections; and optionally share them with others. The app is available as a free version with optional paid subscription (Pro).

User accounts

Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Free and Pro tiers

• Free: Core marker and collection features with local storage. No account required.
• Pro: Cloud sync, share links, collaboration, and additional features. Requires account and active subscription.

Subscription terms

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play settings.

Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Share content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from shared links
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or entity

Data ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Pino (markers, collections, notes, photos). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Shared content

When you share a marker or collection via a share link, you acknowledge that anyone with the link can view that content. You are responsible for the content you share. You can revoke share links at any time.

Collaboration

When you invite collaborators to a collection, they can view and edit markers within that collection based on the permissions you set. You can remove collaborators at any time.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app's core features (local storage, marker creation) work offline. Cloud features require an internet connection.

Limitation of liability

Pino is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted after 30 days. Local data on your device is not affected.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
